• Project on Preserving Traditional Culture and Enhancing the Quality of Community-Based Tourism Villages (up to 2025): This initiative focuses on safeguarding traditional cultures and improving services in community tourism villages. 

• Resolution No. 15 by the Provincial Party Committee on Preserving and Promoting Cultural Heritage Values (2021-2025): This resolution sets a goal that by 2025, 100% of the national intangible cultural heritage in the province will be restored and preserved in conjunction with tourism economic development. 

Development of Community-Based Tourism

Ha Giang emphasizes the development of community-based tourism in ethnic villages, allowing visitors to experience local cultural life firsthand. Activities such as traditional weaving, corn wine brewing, and enjoying distinctive cuisine not only help preserve cultural practices but also provide livelihoods for local residents.

The province regularly hosts cultural festivals like the Mong Khen Festival, which honors and promotes the unique Mông Khen art, attracting tourists and raising community awareness about heritage values.
