Ho Chi Minh City: Discover "The Pearl of the Orient" and vibrant nightlife
Mekong Delta:The background of this area is the largest site of endless paddy rice fields, coconut farms, tropical fruit gardens. The rural communities are just the thing for all tourists who want to get rid of the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy yourselves with many beautiful landscapes such as floating markets, Unicorn island, Vinh Sang farm, An Binh island, bee farm, craft village, traditional working village… and many attractive folk games.
Can Tho: The dense network of the Mekong River and its tributaries has developed the waterway transport system and formed the special customs of the locals here. If you visit, you can watch the locals trading goods from their boats, which has created a vast floating market. Cai Rang Floating market of Can Tho is the most famous of these markets.
Welcome to Vietnam! After collect visa and luggage, meet our driver at the airport and transfer to hotel for check in and take a rest. The hotel room will be available at 2:00pm, and in case that you would like to secure an early-check in, an additional charge will be applied.
After breakfast at hotel, our tour guide and driver will pick you up at the hotel, start your day tour of Ho Chi Minh highlights. The first destination is the Reunification Palace - formerly known as the museum of American War Crimes being the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until April 30, 1975. You also visit some of the best samples of French colonial architecture, which are Notre Dame Cathedral church and Saigon Central Post Office. Next to the cathedral stands the Central Post Office that is the country’s largest post office was built in 1891. It is another fine example of French architecture and is Vietnam's largest post office.
After lunch at a popular local eatery in Saigon, we continue to China town area to visit the most popular secret temple of Chinese Vietnamese community in Saigon, the Thien Hau Buddhist temple. The rest of the time is leisurely on shopping and visiting to the most bustling wholesale market in Saigon, also known as Cho Lon market, a well justified as Vietnam’s largest market. If having more time, you will have chances to visit a famous lacquer ware workshop and enjoy interaction with the local artist.

Itinerary:
Start from Ho Chi Minh City and depart for Cu Chi Tunnels. Traveling to this destination will take you about 1.5 hours. Understand in advance a part of the Cu Chi’s history and hardships Vietnamese suffered in the past through an introductory video. This overview also shows you information about the process of making the tunnel system and the Vietnamese’s endurance.
When reaching Cu Chi Tunnels, begin discovering the permitted areas of the tunnel systems like living areas (bedrooms and kitchens) and martial facilities (storage, fiend hospitals, weapon factories, and command center). Crawling through tiny tunnels to explore the system is actually a great experience.
After the exploring, sip tangy tea and enjoy cassava – the main food of former Vietnamese guerillas. The final activity is to try your hand at the real shooting gun. After this, you are taken back to Ho Chi Minh City.
7.30 -8.00AM: After breasfast, you will travel from Ho Chi Minh City to explore Ben Tre in the Mekong Delta (130km - 2.5 - 3 hour travel time). From Phong Nam pier you will board a boat and cruise along the Chet Say river (a branch of the Mekong) and stop off at various local workplaces to give you a picture of how the local economy works, including a coconut activated charcoal factory where coconut shell is put into a high heat kiln to produce coconut charcoal; a coconut processing workshop, where you can sample fresh coconut and see how every single part of this versatile nut is turned into food and other products.
Then the boat will cruise through the small canal offering an opportunity to discover the local sights and sounds. Eventually the boat will stop at a quiet village where you can have a short walk to experience real Delta village life, visit a mat weaving house, where straw mats are woven using a hand loom – you can even have a go at weaving yourself before boarding your xe loi (a kind of motorized rickshaw) or biking into the village where you can see a farm, rice fields and vegetable plantings before stopping at a local house for a delicious and filling lunch, featuring such local specialties as elephant-ear fish and river shrimp, washed down with some cold drinks or beers.
After lunch, it’s time to board a sampan for a relaxing trip along narrow canals and back to the pier. From there it’s back to the main road for the trip deeper to the Mekong Delta – Can Tho province. Upon arrival, check-in at your hotel, spend the evening free at leisure.
This morning, we will visit one of the most legendary floating markets which named 'Cai Rang'. We board our boat and commence our journey along the Mekong River, observing ‘true life on the river’, the hustle and bustle of families carrying out their morning chores and the locals heading our way to the markets to pick up their daily supplies. We will be back to the hotel for checkout before coming back to Saigon.
Relish a healthy breakfast on the final day of your trip. Complete the hotel check-out formalities after which you can visit the local markets and buy souvenirs for your loved ones. Later, proceed for departure and board your flight back home. Trip Ends.

PAYMENT AND DEPOSIT
Payment Process
1. Deposit: In order to secure your spot for the tour, an amount of 100% internal-flight tickets and 10% of land service are required to pay (the amount vary based each on tour basis). The amount should be made via bank transfer or our online payment method.
2. After receiving the deposit of your tour, a voucher confirmation will be sent to you within 24-48 hours.
3. Final Payment: The balance of your tour will be made one month before the travel date. Payment by bank transfer or online payment is accepted.

CANCELLATION
Bamboo Hat Tours must be informed in writing. Cancellation charges would be effective from the date we receive advice in writing and cancellation charges would apply as follows:
1. 31 days and more before departure: 10% of the full payment + airfare cancellation fees (if any).
2. 15-30 days before departure: 30% of the full payment + airfare cancellation fees (if any).
3. 14 days and less before departure: 100% of the full payment.
4. No-show travelers will be charged 100% of the full payment
CONDITION OF INSURANCE
1. Bamboo Hat Tours demands that all clients going on our trips hold proper personal medical insurance. If clients do not hold insurances and refuse to sign on before departure, Bamboo Hat Tours reserves the right not to carry out the trip.
2. Kindly acknowledge your acceptance of the above terms and conditions by signing and returning to Bamboo Hat Tours a copy of the present contract and of the attachment with all itineraries.
